Stats From SpeedFunding Leeds October 7th 2010

On Thursday 7 October, the North East of England hosted another spectacular SpeedFunding event in Leeds – its biggest and best yet.

Eleven budding entrepreneurs pitched their excellent business plans to 15 Angel investors. A clean sweep was achieved as every entrepreneur received interest from at least one Angel in meeting up again or hearing more about their business, with a view to possibly investing. One new business had 10 Angels interested in it! We will be arranging all these one to one meetings immediately.

As you would expect our Northern arm knows how to throw a party so after the serious business of the night was over, everyone had the chance to ‘Learn the Tables’, courtesy of the Alea Casino. This provided a great relaxed atmosphere for the entrepreneurs and Angels to network and chat after SpeedFunding.

Angels Den is looking forward to assisting some more businesses on their way to becoming the next global brand.
