Eco entrepreneurs, looking for business funding, will be pitching their innovative environmental ideas at a one-off SpeedFunding™ event on 21 June 2010 in Winsford, Cheshire, about 15 mins from the M6 junction 19.

We have been working intensively with our good friends at Innovas Solutions and Envirolink Northwest as well as the entrepreneurs to ensure that these exciting new technologies reach YOU first :

  • Process to convert waste hot air and heat to electricity on site - This technology combines up to five different technologies and techniques that have been available for some time, but never applied in this manner. It has strong commercial applications and a strong target client book have already been identified .
  • Technology to identify and grade multiple types of plastic waste using an online process - The techniques employed here are exceptionally useful to and been well received by, the initial target market, however overall it has applications over several sectors. The owner has very realistic expectations as regards exit.
  • A more energy and time efficient method of producing glycerine - Current techniques produce only “Rolls Royce” level glycerine when in fact lower grades are equally applicable at much reduced production costs. An initial offer to assist with commercialisation has been made by a leading industry player which may ultimately pave the way to an early exit.
  • Biomass heating and energy systems utilising feedstock such as poultry wasteIntriguing technology developed from the owners intimate knowledge of serving the sector for several years, several sites have already been identified for locating the technology , which given the target sector, and business model, will make ongoing promotion self perpetuating. This technology delivers clear cost reduction for users as well improving overall carbon footprint.
  • A patented process of converting waste to biofuels on a large scale industrial level. This opportunity has applications across several sectors, and the owners are particularly well placed in their initial target sector who are already showing very strong interest. Significant returns and early exit will be achievable.
  • A novel combined heat and power system for domestic and industry use that will show substantial cost reduction - The key attraction of this technology is the target sector being driven by legislative change with ongoing future purchasing budgets assured. The management have a strong track record in delivery of previous projects which underpins their overall credibility.
